7/9-7/11 - Back to Songjiang Office

7/9

For breakfast, I had shengjian and pidanzhou with coconut milk.

So, I got to work and realized that I had forgotten my laptop charger...

I was able to use my laptop until it died a little before lunch time. It was so sad. I had nothing to do for the rest of the day. But, at lunch, I told Rachel my dilemma and she said that she would ask IT if I could borrow a laptop.

After lunch, at around 2, Rachel got around to asking the IT guy, but he said that since I do not have an Akzonobel login/password and am not a real employee, I wouldnt be able to use the laptop even if he lent me one. Instead, he let me use a desktop computer that they have in the back.

I was like, "hooray!!!" as I sat down to my computer.

Then, this happened...

Ten minutes later, the computer finally actually started up but it was so slow. I figured out why: the C: disk only has 20GB of memory and was completely filled. When I tried to uninstall programs, it gave me the error message that there wasn't enough space on the disk to create a .temp file before uninstalling. Such a useless computer...

I eventually came up with the bright idea of moving some files first to the D: disk and then uninstalling a ton of the programs. Cleared out 1-2GB and then installed my VPN and I was good to go.

The views from my balcony. Check out the rows and rows of the same exact building.

7/10

Felt adventurous, so I went to KFC for breakfast (LOL). Got a grilled chicken sandwich and a coffee.

Bored at work, so............. bathroom selfies!!!!!!!

For dinner, I was too lazy to cook for myself, so I went out and got some.. you guessed it: beef noodles! With mango drank.

7/11

Went to the bakery nearby for breakfast. This grandma and her grandson were there eating, and the grandma had a bubble tea. For some odd reason, she thought it would be a good idea to drink it like a little kid and use the straw as a suction and pull the straw out and then bring the straw to her mouth and then drink it out. I honestly do not know why she would try this, especially with the big fat straw for bubble tea. She got bubble tea all over herself (obviously) and the table. What a fool.

Don't really have any pictures from this day, but it was another boring day in the office I'm pretty sure.
