4th of July!!!!
Woke up in the morning, and on my way to breakfast, I found the road to my apartment complex had apparently been bombed or earthquaked or something. The road was like /\ and had so much rubble on both sides. So weird.
Nothing exciting happened at work. For lunch, I went with Jason and Rachel to a Taiwanese Xiaochi place. It was pretty good, and really cheap!
After work, we went to Luke's house. Luke is from the UK. Wanting to do as many things American-y as possible, he decided that we would have McDonald's for dinner with Budweiser.
I'm a fat tub o' lard.
Luke was like "omg you should totally try one of these marshmallow sandwiches that I got, they're delicious!"
It tasted like what I imagine a chew toy or one of those toy foods that kids play with would taste like.
And then we chilled for a bit and waited for darkness to come upon us. And then FIREWOORKS!!! We went to the front desk to ask where we could set them off because we were scared we weren't allowed to set them off in downtown. All of the people were like well you could probably just do it in the middle of the road. LOL! Well, there's kind of something called moving cars in the middle of the road... So, we found a deserted area a few blocks away that was "more Chinese" -Luke.
They decided they wanted to go clubbing, so I just went home.
I still have like 18 fireworks in my room... ;..(
