I woke up, showered, and then ate breakfast at Rex's house. His dad had made some stuff the night before, and his aunt made some xifan to go with it.
After breakfast, Rex's dad dropped Rex, Annie, and me off at a subway station nearby. The subway system is pretty new in Chengdu, and they only have 2 lines so far. We went downtown: the first destination was Kuanzhai Xiangzi.
Bamboo!!!!!!
He made me a butterfly!!!!
For lunch, we had like a 10-course meal. American food in China.
Then, we went to another place, and I don't know what it was called. We went to a show where a guy poured water into cups. And another guy changed faces. It wasn't very good.
Me, Rex, Annie's Boyfriend, and Annie
After that, we walked around and got some Chengdu xiaochi... all of which are spicy.
You could pay this guy like 10 kuai to get him to clean out your ears. LMFAO.... only in China...
Dairy Queen serves the weirdest flavors... including WASABI.... Only in China....
Me & a snail

Fried banana-flavored ice cream with stuff on top. The breading on the ice cream was spicy.....
Liangpi, a chicken drumstick in a bag, and choudoufu
Liangpi and Qiaomian
These 3 ladies sat down at the same table as us and were breathing so hard and sweating. They were like OMG THE FOOD HERE IS TOO SPICY. BUT IT'S SoO0oOOOOoo DELICIOUS. I NEED TO GO BUY A DRINK. and Rex kind of just laughed at them.
After that, we went to the movies and saw Man of Steel in IMAX. Pretty sweet, it was in English with Chinese subtitles hehehe.
Then we went to dinner, and then I took a few more pictures in the city. Then, we headed back to Rex's house, and I slept over. His birthday was the next day!
