13 hour flight later, I'm finally here! Such a long flight, and the airplane food was not up to par. Such a disappointment. Out of the 3 meals they served me, the best one by far was freaking $1 cup noodles. Air Canada 0/10 would not fly again.
Also when I first boarded the plane and had made myself cozy in my seat, and the girl next to me sat down. Apparently it was a sports team or something, but her friends come over and are like 'please ask that guy next to you to switch seats with me... I'm begging you... For our sanity and the good of our friendship' LMFAO. LMFAO. LMFAO. Then the girl next to me refused to ask me so her friend talks to me real slow like I'm not American and have never spoken English in my life 'hell-o would you be o-k with switch-ing seats with me?' I was so pissed.
Fast-forward a long 13 hours. First impressions of Shanghai, PuDong airport is MASSIVE!!!!! Could not access any of the 5 different free airport wifis though.
Sitting in the car now and I can't tell if today is just cloudy or if this is the infamous pollution. Nvm asked my driver and he said it will basically be like this the whole summer LOL.
Heading to my apartment and to meet up with my cousin!
I got my apartment settled and after a little mix up, finally found my cousin. We went to Pizza Hut for dinner. Its so different from American Pizza Hut.
This puny thing was RMB110. And a glass of orange juice was RMB 20. Everything is so expensive in Shanghai!
I'm excited to walk around the area for real tomorrow! Getting up at 8, and already feeling tired!
